I like the Human version. I was curious to know though, can I use a Human Preset file for a Newman Male, or would I need to edit the file in order to make it selectable as a Newman?

Files are saved in Documents/SEGA/PHANTASYSTARONLINE2. To upload them here, you need to put them in a .zip and add it as an attachment.
Each file has an extension that is unique to its gender and race, so you can't actually use the file for a human to make a newman.
That said, it might be nice if people also included screenshots of the sliders and advanced options from the salon like they did here.

Extensions are:
.fhp (Human Female)
.mhp (Human Male)
.fnp (Newman Female)
.mnp (Newman Male)
.fcp (Cast Female)
.mcp (Cast Male)
.fdp (Deuman Female)
.mdp (Deuman Male)

I've been looking for a Newman version of this for a while, yet no one seems to have it. There's guides for it, but I am not good at following them perfectly, so I can't make a good one for Newman.

You could always try this. Download the human version, screenshot all the customisation options and then use those screenshots as a reference guide to make the Newman version. I make my characters in windowed mode so I can easily put the image behind the game/Character Creator to make it easier to copy them. I've done it multiple times and it works for me
