I'm pretty sure I have nearly the same setup as Zyrusticae still (SLI 970s,) so not surprised I'm having the same issues.

The posted profiles don't really do anything for me, in fact, it seems to make things worse. AA doesn't really work on them, as seen here:

    Spoiler!

My prior settings work a bit better, but it has glitchy shadows.

    Spoiler!

Switching to 364.72 to see if it helps anything.

I did notice some things like what Arada mentioned as well. Blur seemed to do weird stuff with the shadows.

Added a sample image to the first post.
I have motion blur turned off.

With the default AA, the outlines of my character look sharper.
From what I tested, the background looks jaggy with all the basic AA options.
I had to use SGSSAA to make the lines in the background not jaggy, but that also blurs everything else.

^ Could you see if 0x004018C5 works okay on your setup? Just with MSAA, not SGSSAA.

Is that the old bit? The old bit gave me weird shadows.
I'm using the latest drivers, I think. Updated them for Dark Souls 3.

One of the older ones. You're probably thinking of 0x004010C5 though.

The old AA bits result in strange shadows, hair glitches, or lack the tier 6 shadows.
I saw some strange shadows in tier 5 prior to the update, not sure if that was related.

0x004018C5 seems to work fine for me. Didn't notice anything really out of place.
Edit: Mouse movement felt more sluggish with 4018C5. Dunno why.

It's working a bit better for me now, blur off.

    Spoiler!

Unsure if some of the weird quirks are there, so going to play with this for a while.

Edit: Frame rate seems more sluggish. I'm getting 60fps instead of the 100fps? I get with the other bit.
Thanks, was just wanting to make sure I wasn't wasting my time with it.

I forgot to mention, it's very performance heavy, but gives the best results in my opinion.

A bunch of textures still look disgustingly low res, huh.

Sigh, nothing I do gets light and shadow to work under Setting 6 at all. It worked just fine in the bench/Ep char creator.
I have one ASUS STRIX 970, and I've tried:
    1. Running with no changes
    2. Resetting the inspector profile to vanilla default
    3. Explicitly setting SLI to disabled
    4. The various AA compatibility bits mentioned in this thread.

Aside from some of the options significantly darkening the game, none of them have had any effect at getting lighting and shadows to work at all under setting 6. I'm so frustrated. What gives, SEGA?
