Default XBOX 360 Chatpad... - 08-11-2012, 11:54 AM

hi, i have finally started playing pso2 today. i can use a 360 controller with the game just fine, but when i try to plug in the chatpad the keys dont work... is there something i can change to make it work with he game?

Microsoft doesn't support the chatpad on PC, meaning they never have and never will make drivers that are compatible with the PC.
There's a lengthy work around driver that a user created, but it only works with wired controllers, so if you're using a wired controller and if you're willing to follow some very careful instructions, then good news! but if not, you seem to be out of luck, sorry

Why would you want to use a keypad over a keyboard anyway? Unless you like typing slow...

Maybe to tap the number line without reaching for the keyboard, or typing without putting down the controller, or typing from too far to reach the keyboard, or it's his preference and he doesn't need a reason beyond that?

psu on xbox360 didnt support the chatpad either, and that was all microsoft products.
