From what i herd we are like training Lumia in some way so if were training her it would be dumb if shes a higher lv then us, what if u were lv will she be lv -3

Not really. Lou and Maya are always 2 levels lower than your avatar character or Ethan Waber. And they are also the only characters aside from Lumia to ever reach the max. level cap.
