    Default CTRL+ALT+DEL Crashes the game

    Gives this error:

(Don't have ten posts, can't post links.)

    Does it to me, too.
As does trying to open a video in MPC.
As does starting any program that triggers Windows UAC.
If you want to have Task Manager open, make sure you do so before you start PSO2.

I want to say this was the case with PSO1 and PSU as well.

If they used Gameguard, I wouldn't be surprised.

EDIT: Yup, PSU and PSOBB both used Gameguard.

It's too bad I can't downgrade to Windows 7 anytime soon, I want to get past the np1013 error, which currently plagues Windows 10 and Windows 8 from what I hear.

I play on Windows 8.1, no issues with np1013.

Is this the same with the enterprise evaluation version as well?

In theory, it should work fine since Enterprise is identical to the standard versions of Windows, save for having support for business and enterprise level productivity.
If you want to save a few dollars for when you can afford a new OS install, I might recommend getting a System Builder version since they typically are cheaper than the full retail version ($87 for Windows 7 Home OEM and $92 for 8.1 on Amazon), but that's only if you aren't planning on doing much hardware upgrading. If you do though, it will be a clean install, so back up all your important files before installing.

    The problem is still present.
(was going to make a new post, but instead googled this).
    Has anyone solved this problem?

It's standard error whenever something else went fullscreen (UAC prompt also count).
Try to use virtual fullscreen (borderless) mode.

Also, you maybe want to try this:
    - Go to [MyDocuments]/SEGA/PHANTASYSTARONLINE2/..
    - Look for file "user.pso2", and open with notepad/notepad++
    - Find for line: "ManagedDevice" and change it's value to "True"
    - Save, and relaunch game

In my experience, the game will crash less frequent when something went up, the game will display blackscreen for few seconds and then everything will be fine, though it doesn't do it all the time and just display regular error message instead.
