Depends on all the usual factors, I s'pose. Will you miss the money, do you like the available games, do you care if they soon announce the 3DS Lite, etc, etc.

I'd say: "Screw it! Come to daddy 3DS!". Even if they come out with a Lite or something I survided with a Tank DS so no big deal for me (the only one I have. Still have it. Still play on it ). What can they add to the current one anyway besides more batery life? That thing is already damn small o o

No. I guarantee if you wait til close to the holiday there will be some insane deal going on with them. Right now they are definitely not worth it IMO.

No. The 3DS is deffinatly not worth it. The pseudo 3D does not work at all on it. The battery life is horrid.

Wait a year or so for the new 4DS. You know it's coming.

Buy it. Then buy the next version of the 3DS that they'll release in the next year or so, just like what they did to the DS family.

Ive had mine since launch and so far i haven't regret buying it, even though i don't actually own a 3DS game yet until Zelda comes out. The battery life is pretty low but that hasn't really been a problem, when i do decide to take it out with me i don't really play in enough for it to run out.

Oh, Blue-Hawk. You're always so adorable.

Anywho, I'd say wait on it. It's only $30 off retail, and the current game library is mostly ports of games you probably already own or could get on the cheap for other systems. Wait six months and there'll probably be a price drop to coincide with some additional original content.

However, if you do wind up getting it, I'd recommend Street Fighter and Pilotwings. Both are pretty good. I've also heard the Ghost Recon turn-based strategy game is supposed to be really good.

Portable Zelda: OoT sounds sexy though.
