Can i change a race ?

When I created the character, I do not think that there are serious racial differences in stats. Can I change the race?

Changing race isn't possible. You can switch between classes freely, though.

Racial stat differences aren't serious. It's normally... 5% I think? The biggest difference being between cast and newman forces, there's a 10%+ gap there.

Makes a decent difference when trying to equip the best gear. You can't make up those base stats anywhere else except your mag and skill tree so 20-30 can be pretty significant. The damage difference is hugely insignificant though.
