Default Nidra Mag Specs? - 05-26-2012, 10:49 PM

So all day I have been trying to find a way to get my MAG to turn into Nidra. I finally found out a way and I am just curious if its stats are efficient.

So you got it to nidra NOW what kind of play style you have in mind? Do you want to improve his strong points or balance him out by upping his weak points

Magfarm is the name of a utility to simulate raising a Mag. I never used it but I suppose it could be used as a way to avoid messing up. The tool is downloadable from PSO-W on this page.

About the Nidra, as with any Mag: The first steps in deciding what stats you want the Mag to have is to look at who will use it and then think about the play style you want. (Is it for a Human Force, a Cast Ranger, etc. Will you be a sniper, a caster or a brawler?)

47/3/3/47 while not ideal (due to the 6 wasted points in POW and DEX), is not bad for a pure casting force. Another option would have been see if 5/0/45/50 would have worked, which could have helped slightly with using a TP recovery weapon (preferably handgun, though some classes do ok with Double Saber).

Note that Magfarm does have issues when 2 or more stats are equal, it may show the wrong mag, resulting in it using the wrong feeding charts.

If you ask me, Def is the worst stat to invest mag levels in. You get +1 DFP per level, where a DEF material provides a permanent +2 DFP. Technically DEX is the worst stat a mag has (+1 ATA per 2 DEX levels). However, there's no such thing as an ATA material, so DEX becomes the most valuable mag attribute.

I've hand-calculated a couple plans for you based on potential goals.

For the first plan, I tried to replicate the stats you quoted at the top, using only the character you mentioned.
Spoiler!

Second, I put together a plan assuming you would use this mag as a level 200 tech user, using this guide as a baseline. I also assumed it would be fed from 5-200 only on your mentioned character. I also tried to find ideal PBs.
Spoiler!

I hope this helps!
By the way, did I menton I love mags?
