Aaaargh!! Someone tried to join my game just now, and the whole thing locked up. The screen is frozen and it says "(person's name)is joining the game. Please wait for a while."
I've been waiting about 20 minutes, what do I do?!? Am I going to lose all of my items if I reset my system? Please tell me it'll be okay, I'm at lvl 77, and I don't want to lose the items I have on my character!
Have you tried pulling the network cable out of the system? Try that and it may disconnect and save and quit. If they are just joining the game, I'm pretty sure it's just them that would be saving and not you. Try pulling the cord, if that doesn't work, then you can wait for the auto disconnect to time out and kick in, if that doesn't happen you have no choice but to shut off the game and re-start it. Most likely you will lose all non-equipped items and money, hopefully nothing worse. Good luck man, I hope it all works out.
Thanks for the help. Unfortunetly I was too impatient, and just lost all non equipped items, but nothing too bad, just my inferno bazooka+9! C'est la vie!
