Stuck at menu screen with no menu..

This happened when I tried to log in on July 1st, about 4 hours after maintenance.

I waited but nothing happened after this...
I have no problem running the game before maintenance.

What I've tried so far:
- Revert the game back to JP.
- Launch the game from both PSO2Tweaker and official PSO2launcher.
- Remove and Re-download the game (pso2_bin).
- Delete PHANTASYSTARONLINE2 folder in Documents/SEGA
- Log in with different account.
- Randomly slamming the keyboard. (in hope there are some buttons that activate the menu)

Any help would be appreciated.. T^T

Sometimes it's caused by network lag or data packet loss.

But just in case, try the following stuffs:
- Update or repair your DirectX installation
- Adjust game graphic display settings

You were right about it being network problem.

Turns out I have a corrupted proxy file.

Reconfigured them and now everything works fine

It is a network problem.

It seems to relate to error code 630.

That's all I know for now.

Still don't really know how to fix this. T_T

Perform datacheck to repair any corrupted game file.
I had similar problem last year, datacheck fix the problem for me.

Both datacheck and reinstall didn't solve it.

However, I can play the game at a very specific time,
I assume it's when not a lot of people are online (4pm ~ 6pm JST today).
After that, it kicked me out with 630 and when I tried to get back, it gave me a blank menu again.

Maybe I'll wait for a week and see if it'll solve itself.. -_-

Are you using broadband connection?

Try to open command prompt
type in:
ping -t -l 4 www.yahoo.co.jp

it'll prevent your connection from idling, sometimes when your connection idling the game will disconnect but will never display error message and instead will just stay silent.

Maybe the last attempt.
Do you connect to the game server without using proxy?
If you don't using proxy, then try to setting up pso2proxy (or any other proxy/vpn that able to connect to game server) and try to connect again.

If I didn't use proxy, I would be stuck at ship status: Unknown.

In fact, everything works fine until July 1st maintenance.

It's not like I can't play the game at all.

So far, I know that I can log in around 4~5am and 4~6pm JST.
I assume 4am to 6pm JST is fine but I have work in most of that time frame on weekday T_T.

After 6pm JST is just a blank menu screen for me..
