What really matters is the work. The end result is not as important as the work that's put in. What matters is that someone took time out of their lives to put something together. They took time to think about someone other than themselves.

For instance, what would happen to the person at the dinner table tonight who calls the turkey too dry? It's disrespectful to do that because someone in the family spent all day, all their free time, and their money to show appreciation for other people.

So next time you get something for free, don't pick it apart, just say thank you for the fact that someone else sacrificed for your enjoyment.

Amen.

People are so ungrateful about anything these days, which is why I'm glad I'm so easily pleased!

I know what you mean I hate when you slave over something only to have people complain about it. It makes all the sacrafices you made to put whatever was you were doing together seem be in vain.

According to Martha Stewart, the white meat on the turkey takes longer to cook than the dark meat, so the white meat dries out. The solution is to pack ice around the areas of white meat, so they start cooking later, and finish at the same time. o_O

no, no, no, don't ask me why I know that...

(almost afterthought)

And I agree with Pixel completely.
