What age do you think you'll stop sitting down at a computer and connect to the 'net?
-
Edit, so this text won't go on the top over the voting portion:

I'd imagine in my lifetime things might substantially change as fast as the last 30+ years of computing has and electronics will become easier to use, including computers and the internet.

But there's also chances (if slim) that things can get very expensive, or controlled by governments and ISP's.

There are things out there past geeky or teen laden pasttimes on the net of course, news, weather, entertainment, mapquest like things for driving directions, shopping, etc. that anyone can enjoy at any age.

But knowing that grandparents and even some parents don't use the internet/computers much, although they didn't grow up or into its inception, I thought about this a while and wondered how long people expect to use the internet. Or have any thoughts on when thelast day they'll log off would be, if life permits them to live a long time.

I don't plan on living too long, but I'll probably use it right up until my demise.

Edited for clarity.

It's near impossible to stop using the internet all together, I've gone through phases where I'd stop going to particular sites and I've more than given up on irc.
But amusement aside, there is no better place to get information than our beloved interweb.

Edit: DEATHBED.

By the time I'm 50, I'll get a computer wired to my freaking brain.

Being that the internet is a staple of my life as it is (always connected, wherever I go), and that a lot of my friends live a good ways away, and that I'll probably be travelling quite a bit in my life, no, I don't think I'll stop using it for quite some time.

I'll probably end up dying, before I'm too old to use a computer well. :/
