As far i can see PSO EP1&2 for gamecube gives alot of problems in this category.
Does it happen alot on bb or xbox, how common are the game corruptions on GC, because i never got a corruption on pso ver.2 fro dreamcast....and i never heard of any probles related to game saves in dreamcast, so why this happens in gc so much?

I don't think you could get corruption on BB. Doesn't it save server side? As for xbox, I dunno. Unless something happened to your hard drive?

Maybe it's the saving/memory or cards.

so on bb it is impossible to get the save corrupt, xbox saves the game files on the hard drive so it is save.......but why dreamcast does not have problems and gc has them?

The only time mine has corrupted is when people turned it off while saving. But I had a scare where when I saved, it wouldn't save even though I was using the original memory card for that character AND an official 'Cube one too. I had to turn off without saving and load everything back up, but luckily it wasn't corrupted. I still had all my stuff, but not the rares I found before trying to save. Also, on the Card management screen, one file for PSO said .yyyyyyyy, but after loading it up, it returned back to normal.

turn off before the main screen, i once did that on ver.2 but just to make sure i only made it 1 time, so before and now i let the dreamcast do it's job, no interruptions.
and can a save corrupt even with precautions...........???
