I have finally gotten to Ultimate mode (thanks to all who helped me get past Vhard Mines... and thanks to Dark Falz for finally dying!) and I am having the hardest time hitting my enemies. What would everyone recommend to help me out. I know that I should probably invest my time in finding a God/Arm. However, becuase of my ID finding one is supposedly a 1/41 drop from Pan Arms in Vhard Mines. Now, does this mean I have to kill the creature while its still together in order to have even the potential to drop the item? Even so, what offline quest would give me the greatest amount of Pan Arms without having to wander all over the place to find one?

You must kill the Pan Arms while it is together. Not sure about which quests may be best though.

If the drop is for Pan Arms, then you have to kill it before it splits. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a weapon that kills instantly, and if you don't I suggest you find one. If they split, the most you'll get is a Diska of Liberator

. As far as finding a Pan Arms goes, try Addicting Food, but you won't find any until you hit cave 3. You picked a horrible monster to hunt for, but it'll be worth it when you get that god arm. Just curious, what weapon are you using against the Ult enemies?

I'm not sure which version you're playing, but if you have access to the quest, Towards the Future, there are 4 Pan Arms to be found there, and it's much faster to reach all 4 of them than to hunt through the regular caves. Plus you get boss fights for better experience, too. Silence Claws are a good weapon to carry with you to kill Pan Arms before they split. If they do split on you, just leave the room or run around for a bit until they go back together.

Thanks for the help! I realize that killing a Pan Arms for a God/Arm isn't the funnest of jobs, but I guess it'll probably help me. The only other option I can consider, is if I get my Purplenum RAmarl past Hard Ruins and into Vhard mode I can get her to Vhard Mines becuase the drop for God/Arm for her is something like 1/238 from Dubchic. As for your question werfig: I am using a combination of Delsaber saber and shield which is my strongest weapon ATP wise. For groups I would use my Flowen's Sword like I did in Vhard mode, but quite frankly I get even less hits with it (since buster plus shield yields like a 20 ATA bonus, if I'm not mistaken).

EDIT: Just a simple question: Should I create a Skyly character and deck him/her with all of my good items from my main so that he or she can get into Vhard Forest quickly and use the telepipe trick since from Hildeblues God/Arm comes with a 7/8 drop rate?

If you're missing a lot with a saber class weapon then youre in definite need of a god arm. you'd probably have better luck with the dubchic approach than the hildeblue, i think. or maybe you dont need the entire 15 ata boost from the god arm. try using an elf arm and see if that helps any.

yea, elf arm gives 7, god arm only 15 i think, and if you really need as much ata as what a god arm gves, try lving up a few times back in v.hard ruins or somethin =D

Thanks, I think I have two Elf/Arm++ I think they both add 9 to ATA. Perhaps I should try and use those instead of looking for a God/Arm. And if I do tire of using my HUneweral (which I usually do after a while) I'll switch to my RAmarl and try to get to Vhard Mines, and get those God/Arms. Thanks for the advice!

EDIT: I also have been working on a Rukmin mag for my RAmarl. It has around 65 ATA, while my Bhirava only has 20. Perhaps switching mags is a better choice???

Yes, definitely switch mags, at least for now. A HUnewearl needs more than 20 DEX on her mag. That's the quick and easy fix.
