Is it just me or is the GC version made in such a way that you absolutely must begin with episode 1 first? The exp, items and meseta are significant compared to the start of episode 2's vr missions(man, they sucked). I found this dissapointing since I used to play the DC version all the time. The last thing I wanted to do was play thru episode 1 over when theres a shiny new episode. I actually did make it to episode 2 a few days after starting my Hucast, but the Griffen boss dismantled him. The damage I dealt simply couldnt keep up with my item usage. Ooh well. back to boring episode 1.

Well that's my observation, although it seems alot more like bitching.

I kno its a bit of a pain but I for one am glad of it, cuz it spurs people on (especially us old DC players) to higher levels... must play PSO24/7! lol

Generally, Episode 2 is a difficulty higher than Episode 1.

If you start Normal Episode 2, it's really about Hard difficulty for Episode 1.

I can handle V. Hard Episode 1 fine, but Episode 2 Hard is about equal.

Once you get going and beat Normal and Hard, it's not so bad really. =)

My only gripe about Episode 2 is that the drops suck. I've been playing Ultimate Episode 2 for a while, and no rares in either of the new areas yet. *sigh*

But I wouldn't say Episode II is that much more difficult... just a different strategy.

hehe at least you can play it I've been told on many ocasions that GC pso production has been halted, not to mention I never could find a copy of the game -_- guess I wait for X box hmph
