For the past few months, I have been looking at laptops and what to possibly get. Last night, I finally made my decision and bought myself a Macbook...

Afterwards, I received a call from one of my good friends (Friend A). He told one of our other friends (Friend B, just to help dispose of any confusion) that I bought a Macbook. Upon hearing about this, Friend B begins screaming into A's phone, saying that he will no longer be friends with me and how he'll remove me from his Facebook friend list (which I couldn't stop laughing at when Friend A told me about this).

But after I lol'd for a bit (a few hours to be exact), it made me think why Friend B would want to base a friendship off of one tiny (tiny in the long run, of course) thing. Now this guy, obviously, isn't a fan of Apple's computers (he prefers Linux over the other two). As much as I can understand that he doesn't like something, why should he have to (almost) force everyone around him to use his thinking?

Time to lol some more I guess

Anyone who uses Linux is either a mega-nerd or a braindead failure. Enough said.

I find Apple computers to be HIGHLY user unfriendly. I dislike them. My friend bought one. I told him to get what HE wanted when he asked if he should get one. I said it's his money and he can get what HE wants with it.

Tell your friend B the same thing. And tell him that if he doesn't want to be your friend anymore JUST because you bought a Macbook, then he's no real friend. Also, tell him to enhoy the viruses he can get while you have a virus free system since no one writes them for Mac's...... Yet....

Also kick him in the junk (if he even has any ) for using a buggy and outdated thing like Linux

He was never your friend, case-closed. You got off easy, atleast you don't have to deal with his false-friendship now. Tell him to grow the fuck up.

Good riddance.

Look, he did it again.

I must be psychic. I just knew this topic was going to be about someone getting a Mac. Then again, for whatever reason people from both sides of the isle on the subject act like complete tards; acting like people are robbing their grandmothers whenever someone purchases a Mac/Windows machine. Guess that makes me the most hated then because my Mac is dual-booting with Vista.
