well; old 360 got the lights of death.
got a new one 2day (warrenty ftw!) and upgraded while i was at it to an elite (only 50$) now i realize that everythings gone. i recovered my GT; so thats the same n all. but i try to sign in PSU; it keeps telling me 'Server May Be Going Under Maintainence' what gives? PSO2 JP

no clue but I have Done the Same thing Recently... and 1x before 4th 360 BTW is the same as yours.. and no problem...I would check.. but I am not @ home

Hm... why didn't you just keep your hard drive? And use the transfer tool?

i couldnt keep my harddrive; its an xbox 360 elite.
dont i gotta manually put in a certain IP address or somethin? PSO2 JP

the harddrive was what the problem was anyway; so i couldnt if i tried.
i dont mind starting over; cept i lost all of my cash.... but; i just need to atleast know i can sign on! whats the IP address for PSU; i remember i had to put in a certain one.... PSO2 JP

oh you Don't have your orginal Hard Drive..../the Data that was on it...? I do it works fine...Did you also get a New Router?

is your character connected to you GT? or is connected to your Harddrive?
i have my GT still; but Harddrive is lost. oh and no; Router is the same; but on my other 360; my IP Address was Manual; for PSU. i think..... it keeps saying 'Maintainence' when clearly its not. PSO2 JP
