Yep, it's that time of year again. Humans dressing their children in colorful and creepy costumes, Beasts hanging spooks and spiders in their old mines to scare visitors. The Newmen are all bringing out their horroresque Okiku Dolls. And the Cast are still trying to figure out how to program the emotion 'fear'.
Fates Hand is in on the spirit too! Spirit, spectre, banshee, whichever you prefer. However, in keeping with the cloak-and-dagger, I won't be providing everyone with a crystal clear road map to this event like normal... you'll have to wait till the Opening Ceremony to find the twists to this one. But here's what I will tell you:

This event is going to be an individuals event. There will be some missions that you may want to run, so parties may be useful... but be careful. You'll get their faster, but your competition will too.
The Witching Hour Masquarade will be happening across a number of locations: the main lobbies of the three planets, all the floors of Clyez City, and all of the first post-mission lobbies. (As in after Unsafe Passage, Mad Creatures, etc.) You'll be searching for someone or something, but that's where the witchcraft begins. No fair telling.

It'll all be beginning on Neudaiz, Universe 29. The day will be Saturday, October 27. The event is going to be capped at an hours length by nature, so we will be doing it twice. Once at 10:00 a.m. Pacific as our standard, and another Twilight Rendition later in the evening. (More details on time soon)

Of course, the breakdown for the users:

What: The Witching Hour Masquarade Ball

When: Saturday, October 27

Where: Universe 29, Neudaiz. Just outside the Pavillion of Air

For (Prize): The pot is beginning at 2.4 Million Meseta total, but may raise in the interim from this announcement to the event.

As ever, discuss, speculate, and poke the heck out of what you know. The more discussion there is, the more attention this event will get.

The whole party's welcome, but speed won't be the decider in this one. The playing field is just short of perfectly even, no matter what you're packing.

Sega has thrown in its lot on this event like the last, providing us with a number of great prizes. One at least that I really woudn't mind adding to my own PSU collection. And remember, spread the news as far as you can. I've got plans to scale this event based on the turnout, so the more faces that show, the bigger things get.
