Just wondering if anybody could tell me why AT takes forever and a day to get from 10 to 11. I got to 10 in about 2 hrs, but 10 to 11 is taking forever. I probly got 700 mp before I could even see the bar. Please help.

Supposedly, because you actually need to have the 8000 MP is takes to reach 10 in addition to the MP for 11 to get 11.

I just started lvling AT but haven't gotten to this point yet so I just thought I'd ask...AT "can" go to 15 after all? Because I always thought it capped at 10 for now.

I think I have an idea on why it's like that.

ST entered AF and AT under basic classes, but made their caps 15. So from 1-10, they'll level up like basic classes. What determines your job level is the TOTAL of all MP you have. For example, for a basic class, it takes 60 total MP to level to 2, and 130 MP total to level 3. (which means after you hit 2, you have 70 MP TNL)

The total MP at a basic class level 10 = 1000
The total MP at an expert class level 10 = 8000

So what happens is when you hit AF/AT 10, your total MP is 1000. But 11-15 has expert class requirements! (since there are no 11-15 on basic classes) If we assume it takes 1500 MP to level from expert class 10 to 11, that means it requires a total of 9500 MP. Since your total MP at AT/AF 10 is only 1000, you need 8500 MP to level from 10 to 11, hence why your bars don't seem to move.

Once you hit 11, the requirements to hit 12-15 should be normal.

Well, that kinda sucks but at least I got to 10 fast enough so I don't mind sitting there awhile if it means I can eventually take it all the way to 15. Like you said, after 11, it should lvl like all the other advanced classes.

How does it suck? It's like getting to 10 fast then making up for the speed after 10. You'll spend most of your time leveling the class at 10, rather than at lower levels.

I have to agree. I'd much rather pay my dues at type 10 and the accompanying stats rather than slog through 5-10.

It can get to 15, just gotta tough it out on 10-11.

thx that really cleared this up for me. now i just have to dig in for the long haul towards 7500 mp ^_^
