It's incredible!!!!!
But with all the sound effects going on, it kinda muffles the full effect of the music. I recommend for at least a run or two, turn off your sound effects before warping to the boss and turn up the volume so you can fully enjoy it's full nature!  it's a remix of the PSII boss theme. and it actually sounds fantastic! too bad the actual mission run recycles the Hive theme music. It woulda been cooler if they remixed one of the PSII dungeon themes for the blocks themselves. but oh well the boss music and boss itself are really super cool! oh hey anyone find a NiGHTS doll/statue in their transfer box! O.O (the one all your characters can access!) I found one in there before checking out the new mission.  Thanks Sega/Sonic Team! oh anyone notice the boss has a voice! that i cna agree with... i would hear a bit of it for like a few seconds and i loved the sound. I think the BGM can be obtained via Casino. Theres a music disc there labeled "MOTHER" could it be it?

Death Palace is a terrible theme, but this remix makes it not only listenable but actually SUITABLE for a boss battle. I love it lots.
