Ok, there was an old topic talking about that, but it started with confusing information

http://sega.jp/ps2/ages32/

Release date: March 27 2008

Games included: All 4 original games plus all 8 text adventures from the Megadrive network service (no Game Gear games...)

As you can see in the images, the game features a speed and difficulty selection, and if it is like previous sega ages it will be in progressive scan (420p) and I hope it also has an image gallery

WTF Phantasy Star has difficulty settings now?!

"Thol-Falz, tes par rel diemed. Tes syr, weh yi ryukad te reli, rel ken rel obid." Dark Force, your shrine is finished. Your sword, who you returned to reality, is able to be wielded.

Doesn't surprise me, considering I've talked to a lot of people who wanted to play the original games - but found them far too difficult and unapproachable.

And it's not really complete. While I'm delighted to see them add the 8 text adventures, they really should have added in the Game Gear games. Perhaps bundle the whole thing together with an offline-multiplayer Blue Burst.

In any case, I don't see it coming to the states... but a translation and release on XBL Arcade would be sweet.

The original are fine as they are!
Actually if anything, they should make them more difficult...
That does it though, I really AM getting a PS2.

Dark Falz < Destruct. Why buy it when I have them for my Sega Genesis?

Reason not to CCF. Bored of listening to MP3s?

I particularly like the difficulty selection feature. I am somewhat hesitant because, well, it has the Sega Ages name on it. And Sega Ages is not synonymous with quality.

But we shall see.
