I just bought PSO for the Gamecube looking forward to play it offline/multi-mode with my friends. However, upon playing multi-mode I noticed we cannot talk to anyone and cannot do any quests that I know of. To believe that these options are only available online and single play mode is frustrating. Is this true?

Multi-mode is offline only you can't do quests and cant use chat. Online it is different they come up to you and they join you if you let them and you need chat for that and there aren't that many quests now.

Also, I don't think this is supposed to be in lounge.
