Animu artists, come on! Eye patch, eye patch would be cool, plus with no depth perception his gunslangin' would be twice as otherworldly and respected!

Plus people in towns stopped getting scared away from Vash about halfway in, even when they knew who he was.

Also when we had an old topic about Trigun and Sord and Dizzy bashed it for being a little to monotonous and not being as much of a killer as he should be, instead being a boring pansy.

I figured if he killed everyone in sight it wouldn't be half as long as it was or interesting. He always came out of the scuffles with the odds stacked against him besides the one train-bound boulder battle in which the man let him go so he wouldn't fall apart at the hip - doing enough to earn his respect up to that point anyway so a kill either way would've been pointless.

That's the thing though, Vash wasn't a killer. Even his Angel Arm, that made him infamous for the destruction of July(did I get the right city?), didn't kill a single person.

That's more or less why Knives sent the Gung-Ho Guns after him. He had not killed a single person his entire life. That's why it was such a big deal when Vash had to kill Legato. If Vash was a murderer, it wouldn't have been as entertaining. The way he cherished the lives of everyone,despite not being a human himself, was what made this anime stand out.
