Like what Yoshimitsu from Soul Caliber says.(Or Afro Samurai or Miroku, ect) Someone once told me it was some buhdist saying, but that's all I know...

"Namu-namu-namu," when used by Yoshimitsu, means whatever the localization department wants it to mean. It can even mean several different and totally unrelated things.

Outside of that, I haven't a clue.

Doesn't mean she couldn't have a girlfriend... right??

lol

desu, in japanese pronounced "dess" basically is well...alot of things and i'm not fluent so i wont embellish but its sort of like 'am, is' or generalizing, sort of like 'to be' and all its variations, but that's not entirely accurate.

and it's Shamu's other girlfriend

Desu is just like 'is'.

Example: "Nan desu ka." meaning "What is it?"

Desho would be the more polite version of 'desu'.

Not many people use 'desu' anymore, atleast the youth.

'Wa' is generally used for 'am', like "Boku wa..." or "Watashi wa..." meaning "I am...".

Namu means 'to devote, adore, follow' I think...
I believe it's Kanji.

It's entirely possible that it's just a meaningless interjection.
