Alrighty, I'm back on PC and I got me a 360 controller. I've already downloaded the official driver(s) for it from Microsoft, but I still can't assign the triggers. Help anyone?

Protip: the official drivers suck

You're better off using something like Xbcd which you can find here. after that they should just work as normal buttons.

also welcome back

Yeah download xbcd, and goto the options for PSU.
And then use the xbcd mapping to configure/change the contols there.

Have you followed the instructions on the xbcd site?
Also, if your downloading the 'vista' version, don't. Download the XP version, it works with vista. The vista one was bugged iirc.

O_o huh... I found the XBCD Setup program, but... everything in it's grayed out. I can't do anything in it.

Use those greyed out things as a map to assign the respective buttons in the PSU options (control settings or something) You don't actually change anything in the xbcd program, its a driver that has a map specifically for an xbox controller.

Dammit... I was ecstatic for a moment when I just read that. I mapped PSU just now for the Page Left/Page Right/Chat Log functions to be set to buttons 11 and 12, since Setup Utility says that but... nothin. ;o;

DOUBLE EDIT:

Ugh, nevermind. I just tried XBCD+. The triggers work now, but now my character's stuck running in circles and the camera's in the bottom right. >_<
