Default Need advice with lag - 08-04-2008, 05:34 AM

Hey guys,

I need help, I have been having a terrible terrible lag since about a month or so. It's also a very weird lag.

When I hit monsters I see no numbers popping up and they sometimes first show up after a minute or so. By the other players the monsters are already dead while I am still beating on them. I alos don't see when I take damage as it also takes a minute until it happens which is why I die a lot. Also if I know I took damage and use a dimate it also takes so long like the other stuff to work. I also can't help others because everything takes for ever.
The wierd thing is, that everything is normal. I see the other players attacking I see the monsters attacking, other players can heal me right away, that doesn't lag. But while I am fighting the other players just see me standing there.
I have no clue what the problem is or how/if it can be fixed. I always had the little normal lag but this is horrible. I remember it starting after we got an update and it doesn't go away anymore.
Anyway, it's really horrible to play this way, because I can barely help my other team players and playing as my ActoTecher isn't an option at all at the moment which makes me sad ;__;

So if anybody has any kind of advice I'd be more than happy!

P.S. If somebody didn't see the prefix I am on PS2

PS2 and PS3 your gonna get lag. Your best off playing this game on a PC.

You could try resetting your router, disable any WiFi and also check out this web site

http://portforward.com/routers.htm

Find your router and find PSU game to setup Port Forwarding.
