Hi, I have roamed the boards for a while now but first time posting. I have played a Human Hunter to level 40 in the past but got very bored with the game. Now that AOTI is out I decided to start fresh with a Beast Hunter and so far so good.

I would like to know what weapon type is best for a beast I have been using Knuckles so for and they seem to work well, just wondering if I should start using something different that will be more affective. I have quite a bit of money from my hunter that I can use to buy weapons and armor for my Beast, about 800k or so. Can you recommend some of the better items I should look to get.

And finally, I am level 10 right now, where should I be leveling? I play solo a lot of the time if that may change your answer.

I am the sucks with good spots to power level for lowbies. But you can pretty much go with any weapons you want, but skills are more important than the weapon types, in my opinion. In that I mean that a weapon could be good, but not of all of it skills are good.

That out of the way, The usual path is Linear Line, then Mad Creatures until you 're good enough to face De Ragan. From there pretty much anything, although I hate hate hate HIVE.

Don't forget the story missions to get all your NPC partner cards.

I just started a Newman over on Saturday, and he's lv18 right now. I'm always in Universe 15 and he doesn't lock his missions, so yeah. Oh, his name? SabZero Newman

Oh, and I'll add that doing "new" missions on lower characters seems to be better than doing non-expansion missions after LV10. Some of the old, old missions have truly absurd MP pay outs.

Old missions = white
New missions = yellow

Yea, unfortuntely that's true. I do the second AMF mission (5 block one) on C to get the basic jobs over with

Well, you can use twin sabers, twin daggers, double sabers, axes aaand....for range use rifles and pistols.

Damn FF can use rifles and double sabers offline? This sounds amazing. any other changes to classes?

^ Offline there's only been Hunters, Rangers, and Forces. It's just that they're far more versatile in terms of PA choices and equipment.
