Dark Flow isn't obtainable in any way online because Parasitic Gene: Flow does NOT drop. Ever. For any ID. In any difficulty.

Only private servers have enabled drops, which aren't legal anyway. As someone said, Google it, but you can't ask about private servers here. All one is is a server that isn't run by Sega.

Also, you should know that even if you cheat to get a Dark Flow, it sucks. It's got huge ATP, but the special attack only works when you're on very low HP, and you can only perform one attack at a time (in other words, you can't do a 3-hit combo with it). It's a terrible weapon.

Yeah, I know. Like I said before, I wouldn't use it even if I had one.

It'd be cool to keep one banked though. So....... Off to google x.x

Like, how many people are online, and how often? Because if theres still a lot of online people, I might try and find my online adapter. (Which I sadly never got to use because I got it like the week they shut down GC servers </3. SEGA = lame)

Also, why'd the close the servers anyway?

Because there wasn't as many players playing and they were losing money by keeping it up AFAIK.

Usually peaks at around 30 or 40 people online. Nothing compared to back when (from what I can guess) but definitely worth it IMO. Good people, tons of fun, and everything about PSO that makes it awesome :P

Private Servers are not technically legal and I don't think we can even mention them still. From what I remember a while ago the parasitic gene SHOULD be obtainable but because of an error in code or something like that the drop chance isn't low it's literally 0% drop rate. Same for the Red Ring.

so basicly what your saying is that the error code existed in pso beta disks, in pso v1, in pso v2, in pso ep1&2 for gc/xbox and for pso bb?

Myabe it's just my opinion, but i believe sega had reasons not to release the item.

When playing Normal just isn't enough for you.

I still find it funny people still search for these weapons. It's not a bad thing its just when you get them you expect them to be all powerful. They're not. I 've compared other same categorized weapons with the Flow weapons and there are stronger weapons then those.

I never really got why Sega banned them or made them findable through illegite means. They aren't like they kill bosses in ultimate in one hit if a level 100 uses it, or shred screen data/pixels per swing.

I think I know of one private server where the flow drops are possible though. But I cannot tell you here.

*Points at Dark Bridge*

If you actually used it, and equip the correct units such that none of the adverse effects would work, Dark Bridge rivals Psycho Wand in many instances. Dark Bridge literally makes every Force have the Grants boost of a FOmarl, the reduction of TP as much as a Psycho Wand, and the Megid piercing effecting of a FOnewearl. Megid piercing makes Seabeds look like a joke.

Dark Meteor and Dark Flow are another story. Dark Meteor is average, since it can obtain hit in an easier matter, and thus makes the weapon more easily be used as a primary shot weapon. Only 3 shots beat it, one which can only be used by RA droids (Panzer Faust), one which cannot have hit (Baranz Launcher), and a sacrifical special Arms with hit. Dark Flow just sucks, period, although its special is pretty unique.

Well they are almost direct ports, it looks like. They took out the ATA material (or what ever it was) but I doubt they worked on it that much before releasing it. I dunno. If they didn't want the weapons they could have simply got rid of the code for them.

If you understood everything I said, you'd be me.
