Maybe it's just me, but lately I've been on a drought of sorts with rare drops. My last rare find was on my lvl 114 fonewearl in ultimate, and that was a photon drop. Not that I'm complaining about a photon drop, but still, I hit forest really hard constantly looking for god items off gul-gues.

I thought that maybe my fo was just in a slump, and since rares aren't that big of a deal to me with her right now (need techs), I switched over to play my lvl 48 ramarl in vhard. I've been up to the caves in vhard with her (purplenum) and have not seen a single rare in vhard yet. I've gotten 2 rares with her total, once in offline single player hard mode, the other in vhard multi online.

I also have a lvl 35 redria hunewearl, who has to date found zero rares, but this is to be expected in only hard mode.

The thing that puzzles me is when I first got Zoe to hard, rares dropped like rain, although nothing I could use really, they still dropped often. Does this lack of rare drops happen often? Normally what I do is start up the game, run Zoe through the forest and kill sil dragon. If I don't see a rare drop, or decent techs (lvl 20ish), I quit the game and start over again. If after a second time, sometimes third, and I get the same results, I play my ramarl, then my hunewearl.

Basically what I've found is that if Zoe has a bad rare day, all of my characters have the same kind of day. It's rather annoying. Anyways, I was curious if anyone else had ever experienced similiar situations such as this. I'm pretty sure it's not my imagination.

remember, they are called 'rare' for a reason. actually, i have been loosing interest in playing lately myself, mainly because of the lack of new finds. last night, however, i finally got my goboomas arm. my booma arm set is now complete.
now, if i can only get a sinow berils arms.

I feel the say way. I've got a lvl 108 greenil and I used to average at least 1 rare per Ult forest run. I didn't care that it kept being the same one, it was at least something. But lately i've had horrible luck. Even in the caves nothing drops anymore. I know how you feel.

I'm just gonna keep on doing runs though, sooner or later it's going to pay off, good luck to you.
