lol yea theres been alot of movement around this offseason. jay cutler going to the CHICANO bears means that they have that deep ball of rex grossman with more consistency in a good quarterback, and devin hester is probably going to be seeing alot more action his way... even though i wouldnt call him a GREAT reciever, they dont really have the berrian or muhammed that grossman had in his prime in chicago. i wish hester would just stick to taking returns, it was easier that way. plus, orlando pace may be old but will probably give cutler an extra second to throw, and kevin jones actually is a good runningback, despite his numbers in detroit... he IS prone to injury though, but i'm sure he'll be backing up matt forte. i dont know in-depth yet, after the draft in a couple days, i'll be back in nfl mode full-form.

but the point i'm trying to make with the bears is this: lions will never win the division. if there was ANY chance, it'd be in that sloppy 2008 season. ahhhh my dear boys i hope you can beat the curse this year. the 50 years are up, AND THE CURSE OF BOBBY LAYNE HAS BEEN LIFTED

lol well with the lions... everyone knew stafford for quite some time. but honestly... it took until round 3 to pick up a defensive player(delmas doesnt count), when our defense has been the main problem. when we got pettigrew i said, "alright, sort of an odd pick, but hes the best tight end in the draft. maybe they are trying to load up stafford so hes got a deep threat and a reliable, hard working tight end... like when they drafted 3 wide recievers in the first round in 4 years for harrington to load him with weapons." but no... we followed that pick with louis delmas, a cornerback from western michigan that could have been picked up in the 3rd round if this was a decent drafting class. i don't think they're sticking with the tampa 2 they've been using the past few years with marinelli... so even if they go to a blitz heavy defense and move delmas to safety to be a strong hitting presence in the backfield... if we're planning on making pressure on the qb our main goal, this guy was from a shit conference where it isnt going to prepare him for the nfl in a position where qb reads are a must, and delmas also was noted as having no upper body strength, and hes probably not going to make much of an impact. sort of like when kenoy kennedy was picked up in denver to give some "muscle" to our shit safeties, only to have kennedy get his ankles broken by trying to make an open field tackle to adrian peterson, and was immediately released after the season ended. and they think that this cornerback was better than picking up a defensive end or a linebacker.

all i can say about the lions this year: DISAPPOINTMENT. "its a rebuilding year." well, theres a reason detroit has been called a "renaissance city." we've been under multiple "rebirths" since i've been alive, both with the city and with the lions.

AND LETS SEE HOW THESE CONTINUOUS NEW PLANS ON "REBUILDING" HAVE HELPED MY GREAT CITY OF DETROIT:

A CITY OF LOST DREAMS AND SLOW, PAINFUL DETERIORATION. every year, we hold out on another hope, another idea that there will be a savior to swoop in and fix the problems. and every year, that dream is destroyed. maybe the whole city should just do what i did, and move out of there before it SUCKS THE LIFE OUT OF YOU. i'm sure when they go back, it will just be rubble. it already looks like pripryat, and pripryat has been vacant for over 20 years.

well i'm starting to go off on a tangent. what i'm trying to say is:

DETROIT LIONS, SUPERBOWL WINNERS 2010

I love how only 2 people posted on this thread.
I guess everyone else on PSO-worlds forums aren't exactly the sporty type?

Lol indeed.
Football is an amazing sport. Though, I do find watching it on TV incredibly boring for some reason, playing it is just amazing.
I'm so glad I'm dropping Marching Band next year and getting into High School Football instead.

Spring Football is looking good for me right now. Can't wait until we start facing other schools
