Default Weapon Comparison / Damage Calculation - 12-01-2009, 12:25 AM

Does anyone know what the equations are to figure out how percents and grinders factor into damage? To be more specific, do percents only affect a weapons base power or does it include grinders? If I have Daggers and a Saber with the same ATP, do the Daggers just do twice as much damage since there are twice as many hits? Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere.

Or for people who prefer equations, the possibilities I'm thinking about are:

1. Damage = ( (Base ATP + Grind) * Percent * number of hits? ) - Enemy Def
2. Damage = ( ( (Base ATP * Percent) + Grind) * number of hits? ) - Enemy Def

-Set Bonus is from equipping certain pieces of equipment.

Now for the actual damage

Code:
Damage = [(Base Attack * Attack Modifier) - (Defense * Zalure Effect)] / 5 * PA Bonus * (100 - Enemy Resistance) / 100 * Other Element Bonus
Notes:

Attack Modifier
-1 for Normal Attack
-1.4 for Heavy Attack
-1 for Photon Art

Zalure Effect
No Zalure: 100%
Level 1 (1-5): 90%
Level 2 (6-10): 85%
Level 3 (11-15): 80%

PA bonus
-The ATP or MST modifier of your Photon Art if you're using one
-If not then this is 100%

Enemy Resistance
-Enemies resistance to Weapon Attacks

Other Element Bonus
-None: 100%
-Celeb1: 110%
-Celeb2: 120%
-Celeb3: 130%
-Celeb4: 140%
-Celeb5: 150%
-Life: 150%
-Risk: 150%
Also, enemies have different individual resistance to all damage types types (melee, shooting, fire, lightning, ice, light, dark)

From here we can also conclude that if you're planning ahead, it's better to use ATP/MST/DFP materials while getting other stats from mag, because material stats is included in Shifta/Deband while equipment is not.

I see. Thanks for reposting that. Though, shouldn't the percent for No Zalure be 100%, not 0%? And then does Weapon ATP include grinders? Just wanna make sure.

odd, I was sure I fixed that part. But yeah, it's 100% for no Zalure.

Also, grinders is included in the "weapons ATP" part. Every grinder directly adds +2 ATP afterall.
