Was wondering which would be better. Rods seem to have a higher MST bonus, yet wands have an added tech boost.

Which would provide the higher amount of damage with techs?

Rods have no Tech Bonus, they strengthen Techniques by their high MST.
But I prefer Wands with Magical Sign, either they have higher accuracy at it and that they charge very quickly (with Compress PA) with 360 range and Slows hostiles. For Techniues? Weaker but not too weak. Hardly differs to me.

I wouldn't want to Resta myself 500 HP with Rods if I have like 400 HP.

But it's your choice, this is merely my perspective.

My lvl 65 FOnewearl has over 400 HP... lol

Magical Sign deal good damage? I've never really used any of the photon arts, yet. Just been using techniques and regular attacks. Photon arts are new to me, as they weren't in PSO 1&2, so I keep forgetting about them.

Ohhh, same here, I never used Photon Arts as much before.
And yes, the Magical Sign will deal good damage depending on your MST and it boosts you the accuracy to hit all hostiles around you and even hinders them with Slow. Also, it only takes a few PP.

if u want to use a rod use rodeo drive, 1 more hit then magic sign albeit slightly less accurate, plus its bouncy fun fun fun!

The rod I've been using, can't recall the name, has no photon art. lol

Yep, I actually do bring both a Wand and a Rod (Goth Parasol) and I love the Photon Art!!!

By the way, does it seem like you're riding a horse on this PA??
