Acording to what ive heard and seen, dont go with 2x Saber weapons. the combo takes too long to do and you will get hit a lot. Ive seen some good HUcasts useing Scyths and the likes of that, also i would think Swords work well to

i guess its up to how you feel really

As far as droids go, it's always good to have a weapon that sucks a lot of HP (anything Gush, like Chainsawd's for Hunter droids). As for best weapon for a HUcast, lotsa Hit % for whatever it is, since their ATA isn't one of the better ones. It's hard to say which kind of weapon is best, since it depends on the situation. If there are a bunch of enemies coming at you, a partisan (preferable over a sword, because the third animation doesn't suck), is best. Sometimes slicers work well for the same reason, but they're better when either the enemies will be dead by the time you finish the combo, or the distance isn't closed by the time you finish the combo. (Slicers always work well against packs of machines in N, H, or VH Mines.

) But if it's a single enemy and you want to dish out lots of damage, Asuka's are nice because they're powerful and hit more than once (like daggers, but with five hits). Problem with the double swords are that they're kinda slow. That's where the double sabers and daggers are good, though they are comparatively weaker.

Lastly, it's always a good idea to carry a formidable gun. Strong handguns for range, and mechguns for plowing through and pushing back critters.

I would Still have to go with a High Powered Weapon Like Black King Bar If u have that option,A Actual experienced Player can dodge attacks without messing up the combo and why dont you find a Devil/Battle or a God/Battle they arnt to hard if speed is a big concern for you ?
