I don't believe a higher rank influences the rate of a manastone's appearance for any given mission. Having a rare item boost on would only make getting area drops more difficult, you'll only gain a better influence in getting type drops vs. everything else.

You'll just have to deal with off runs where you find very little to none at all.

I'm trying to get curtz partner card so i took a few of his requests earlier. So far I've done everything up to the one that asks you to change to a hunter. I finished the change to a hunter request and the symbol for done showed up next to the request name, so I go over to him and this comes up:

Spoiler!

He does that every time I go up to him to complete the request and get to the next one. I even tried taking an open mission as a hunter in a c rank to see if that would work. Any idea what's going on?

EDIT: After reading the blog more carefully (where I got my info from), I might be full of items that he's trying to give me. I'll try that.

Yep-, it says your inventory is full, so make some space for the reward item.

Thanks, Strauss.

Biwa Rock (Rod) can be dropped by the Vol Brothers Boss Boxes (LV125-249). (I think it was a reward item as well from MaximumAttack Infinity).

I recall there being a violin case grenade launcher (Song for Death), a single version of Twin Distortion (Elec Distortion) and there's a card weapon that look like a microphone with a heart (DreamMaster) and the MegaPhone mechgun.

Vanilla VisionPhone passwords work in Infinity and benefit from a higher percentage as opposed to the lower percentage of Vanilla.
Thank you for the answers!
Can I ask what table 5 means though?

The enemy tables are all listed here. Run that through the translator of your choice if you don't understand Japanese.

Neudaiz table 5 refers to the Kamatozu, Danoamazu, and Goran Garan enemies.

Thanks for the response but I found them, its a bit more complicated than that. You have to import certain DLC in the main menu. I found clothing and weapons there, then after importing they show up in your stroage.

I do feel ripped off though since all PSN clothing is restricted to only 1 color. PSU has spoiled me since all PSP2i clothing has 10 flesh (sometimes 20 with CV variants) colors and 8 cast (sometimes 16).

The best overall shield weave available in Infinity is the Infinite Armor. It provides a whopping 620/242/585 boost in DEF/EVA/MND, respectively (req. LV: 175).

You can obtain one by S-ranking Gurhal Heroes on infinity rank. It's a clear screen reward, so it may take several tries until you get one.

When I do get Infinity, I might try getting a rainbow set. :P

I would say either the Dios Howler set or Infinite Armor.

EDIT: To compare:
Howler + Depertar = 651 dfp, 374 evp, 519 mst.
Infinite Armor = 620 dfp, 242 evp, 585 mst.
