They made a hell of a comeback starting with United Abominations, Endgame, and Thirteen. I found their mid-late 90's stuff so....blehhhh. Countdown and Youthanasia were good, but the stuff after that was preeetty blarf.

Lotta bands have periods like that. There are Maiden and Motorhead albums that I entirely refuse to acknowledge exist. Only band I can think off the top of my head that I like all their albums is Manowar.

I actually just downloaded all of Megadeth's shit and I'm gonna go thru it in chronological order over the next couple o' days or a week or so, I'll make another post about what's da bes and whats da wors.

Azeroth most of them time. Then trying to get back to a normal life, only to lose that working two jobs.

And to keep on topic, Naked and Famous - Youngblood

Oof. Sorry to hear that, yo. Good luck with everything.

Also, great tune, I'm gonna check out more.

I wonder how many people use this thread (and the other) to try and discover new things to feed their ears rather than just posting and forgetting. I'm certainly checking out new stuff all the time thanks to this thread and have ended up buying quite a few new albums thanks to it.

And now....ANGRY TIME!

I don't find a lot of nu-metal holds up, but god do I still love Spineshank's The Height of Callousness. A 37 minute relentless punch to the face. Lyrically, it's goofy as shit, but I think everything else about the album still holds up pretty well.

Summer of 1992. Twenty years ago, teen me was staying up late in the oppressive heat and humidity, listening to pirate radio in Philadelphia.

This track takes me back to that time.

Today is "Day Where I'm Still Listening To Dream Theater" Day.

It's always a good day when it's Day Where I'm Still Listening To Dream Theater Day!

Been on a huge Japanese Hip-Hop kick recently. Been listening to a bunch of Rip Slyme, Kick the Can Crew, Seeda, Rhymester, and Kreva. Too much to link, I guess, but google is your friend if you're interested.

Also, a lot of Dream Theater like Triela.

How can I possibly put a new idea into your heads, if I do not first remove your delusions?
