Why PSO for PC is bad! -
07-27-2011, 06:27 PM
I found this posy by FuzzyLogic or something like that in the forums:
"Because PC is the only system that makes sense for a game designed to receive frequent and multiple content updates."
Xbox 360 and PS3 receive daily constant updates, so theres no point in that statement!
"Because PC only means Sega won't have to deal with Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo and can have the server and connection all to themselves, making things much easier to manage."
Microsoft owns Windows and PSO PC will be running on SET WINDOWS! Xbox 360 is owned by Microsoft so it would also be beneficial to put PSO on 360 also, perhaps share a server together.
"Because PC gaming is superior to console gaming in about every way possible."
Oh really, the hours of installing, setting it up, making sure it can be handles by your video card, and sound, and also space to run it and lets not forget the ram you need, also if your processor is able to handle it also, Oh and the keyboard mouse controls have to be just annoying at times too.......Not many people would be able to run PSO 2 on there PC......As for XBOX 360 and Ps3, Open game box, take pso2 game, put in tray, game loads, look I can play, within 60 seconds. Superior? Maybe once your set up.....FINALLY! I really think it makes more sense to play this on XBOX 360 and PS3 as there are more of these Consoles then there are PC's
Also to why its a bad idea is look how badly they hacked Blue Burst! In such a short time. Hackers have so many tools they can use on PC games this game would be in the toilet in under a month. There is limitations on Consoles as far as hacking goes. Either way I have a high end PC, an Xbox 360 slim and a PS3 Slim so for whichever it comes out, I will have it. But, playing on a console is just that much better! IMO.

PSO2 on PC is a must right now. How about you stop living in 2001, this is the future.
I for one don't want to see PSO2 on consoles. Why, because they would be hacked and cheaters would storm the servers in no time at all. From what I've heard..... PSO on DC and GC also suffered from their share of hacks and cheaters, and I believe that XB EP1&2 also had it's share from that as well.

OP stop asking for the game to come on other systems.
Everyone else stop talking about how "we should get with the times". People like you are the reason videogames suck now.

You are aware that there was hacking going on in both pc and console pso right?
What FuzzyLogic said is very true. A good example of the updating limitations on xbox would be when they had to make you redownload aoti for the supplemental update.

I don't know if it's a MUST but is it the best option? Probably. Whatever it may come out on I'll get it on PC, but I think to say that you don't want to see it on consoles is well being a little....well whatever your opinion and I shouldn't judge. PC, console it doesn't matter we're gonna see hacking involved either way. Lets all play nice as we all just want to do the same thing at the end of the day....Play PSO2!
