Default Importing Psp2 Infinity - 09-05-2011, 07:38 AM

I've spent over 800+hours on my just one of my characters in psp2
Its gotten to the point where i have no point in playing it, yet i want more. I managed to play the Demo of infinity and loved it. And since i don't see a US/EU Infinity coming (tired of waiting) i was wondering what are the pros and cons of importing psp2i?

Also where did you import it from?

Thanks in advance ^-^

Not to mention the story mode xD I've tried not to spoil myself with it much so i only know as far as the JP demo went. And by that i mean i know nothing since it was in Jp

Anyone else care to share to boost my reason on getting it? Cus i have alot of ps3/3ds games to get as well

Pros:
Downloadable Content, Full Online support from country of origin. New Rebirth system and 2nd episode. New weapons and costumes to obtain. There are other new features such as taking screenshots and recruiting player created ai partner cards.

Cons: If you do not know Japanese then this is the problem. If you cannot understand Japanese then these will be your problems.
- Might not know the weapons you get
- Might not know the armor you have
- Might not get the story
- Might not get S grade because you cannot read instructions
- Might get ostracized for not speaking Japanese on a predominantly Japanese speaking online community
Also setting up a dedicated JP PSN account for your psp if you only have 1 psp can be troublesome for some.

Anyway, there are multiple ways for dealing with the cons...But if you can pick up kanji, katakana, and hiragana in a short time for playing this game...I think you are overqualified on playing this game lol

Well for all the language block stuff (both in story mode and weapon wise) i have here and Ricardo's Phantasy Star Blog so content wise i should be ok.

While i was on the Jp demo server a lot of the JP players could speak a decent amount of English, not to mention all the people here that play Infinity.

But as you said there are multiple ways around the con's im just listing the ones i can think of.
Thank you for the information
