Time will tell if they can keep that Elder Scrolls feel but in MMO form.
They could go the UO route and create a long list of skills with uniform functionality that anyone can train, but would take prohibitively long to master. Every character could potentially be a custom class in that regard.

Just as long as they give us boats so we can 8x8 to get our GM Magery.

Has nothing to do with PC only, but simply because of what you can do in Elder Scrolls vs. what's feasible in a Multiplayer Environment. Whether or not it is on a console isn't the thing in question. MMOs alone have rules, and so does multiplayer. Rules and balance that Elder Scrolls specifically does not, and for good reason.

Well.....I don't think it will be THAT bad. I mean the game runs farily well even when it loads all the NPC's.

Thanks to Vashyron =D!

I absolutely agree. This can very easily backfire in a very big way. Especially if it's as half-assed as a lot of recent western MMO offerings have been...

Found some scans...

http://imgur.com/a/fO9Ty#5

"genre standards with classes, experience points, and progression"

"we had to make the playable area smaller to fit the requirements of the PVP system"

"...has to be comfortable to people coming from a typical MMO that has the same control mechanisms..."

"You may be doing it from a third-person perspective and using a hotbar to activate skills, but the basic idea is the same."

"The mission complete, the player returns to his own time to a peaceful, ghost-free battlefield and a grateful group of mages. This use of 'phasing', where players see different worlds dependent on their quest progress and can't interact with others in different phases, is technically very similar to how Blizzard implements it in World of Warcraft."

"Making player housing work the way fans expect is too hard to implement in an MMO, so Zenimax has no plans to let you accrue real estate."

So its a WOW clone :l

I´m sceptical on how great this is gonna be.
So many things that can go wrong.

Pretty sure that teaser vid itself had a ton of glitches

I personally have mixed feelings about this. I love the Elder Scrolls games and killed hundreds on hours on the last three alone...plus the fact of revisiting Morrowind and Cyrodill are awesome (not to mention seeing the other areas that haven't been explored since Arena). However, after coming off a massive WoW addiction (thankfully my SWTOR phase died down quickly), so I don't know if I really want another MMO.
