Anyone playing on a Mac? I'm thinking of trying to get it set up on my laptop so I can feed mag at work and such, I am currently using cross over should I just install it using that or is there a different route you recommend?

I run it on a 5-6 year old MBP 17" in bootcamp. That can handle the lower quality settings. Trying to run it in parallels or vmware would be too much strain for it. My work Mac Pro is about a year old, 8-core 12ram, that can run the character creator in parallels pretty well.

ahh I have a macbook pro too so it should handle it nicely but haven't purchased bootcamp yet, is there a trial version or something that I can use at least with it ? Kinda was using cross over because of the cost.

Bootcamp is just the partition manager that should come with your mac (check under applications-utilities). You just need a windows OS to install to the partition. Windows 8 is in free open beta last I check, but I kind of remember hearing people having issues with it and PSO2.

so yea bootcamp is free, you just need to pay (or whatever) for windows
