If you want to maximize your Assault Rifle's damage with Weak Bullet, you need to be aiming at the weak spots on the enemy (ie the red spots on the Darkers). Well, this applies even without Weak Bullet. You need to be aiming for the certain points on an enemy to fully get the maximize damage for each 3-shot burst.

Besides, 40 to 200 is a huge damage increase.

Yeah I know I have to activate it and I've been aiming for weakspots as well, I know vols are his tail and his horn in front

My prone snipe ability with my AR deals anywhere from 250-400 and my explosion ability from my luancher does around 600-800. I think I just need a better AR atm.

My launcher gives me 592 (attack power whatever its called in this game) and my AR gives me 472

I think the triple-grenade PA in question was "One Concentrate." Cracker Bullet is great for hitcount-based things though... but I haven't been able to make good use of Cluster.

only way i've gotten cluster to actually hit something is to shoot at my feet in TPS, so the rocket flies level with the ground into the mobs.

too much work. unless there's some other trick to it.

are these PAs unlock as you level or does it depend on the weapon you have on?

PAs are learnt by using the corresponding disc. You can find discs or buy them from player shops.


Cluster Bullet has a definite range, so you have to be at the right range to use it, when you are, it's a good PA to use: the damage is very high, the blast radius is bigger than Divine Launcher, it does not juggle monsters (hunters will appreciate), it comes from above, so it can potentially hit weak spots situated at the top more easily (works well on Dark Ragne).

Concentrate One is a completely useless PA, it hits only one target for the same damage as multi-target PAs do. Waste of space.
