Well, since someone else was having this problem too, I've put the launcher, updater and downloader files into an archive. You can find them http://nyaanyaa.ath.cx/stuff/pso2/pso2launcher.zip. These are the latest versions. You can try them if you want.

Did you proofread what was on the thread prior to uploading it? It's a pretty tough read you have there. Hoping it gets fixed next time. =)

Some of the files had permissions for SYSTEM user only, that's why that message popped up. Fortunately, an administrator can grant permissions of total control of these files to any user and that's what can be done to solve the problem.

Right-click the files, go to Properties, then Security tab.

You see there the permissions that each user have for that file, well, click on Edit and add a user (yourself) and the degree of control you'll want for the file (total control), accept and that's it.... i think.

WARNING: THEY SAY THAT MODIFYING FILE PERMISSIONS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS. TAKE CARE, PLEASE.

And me too, but when a file comes with System user permissions only, there's nothing to do until you grant permissions by yourself.
