can someone tell me what's up with this "auto-reboot" that some (or maybe even many) other people experience? it's really irritating; especially when playing online.
i have no idea what happens, but it'd be cool if anyone can give some info on what causes it and how it can be prevented. |

It is caused by the power board contacts getting dirty.
You can clean these yourself or get Sega to do it for you (at a cost.) |

I've never had that auto-reset problem in any other DC games... Seems like it's just a bug in PSO.

the auto reboot thing is much worse! Th BSOD can be stopped by pulling ou the phone line or waiting for a disconnect but the reboot thing just really ruins your day especially if you were walking around with nice UNequipped stuff when it happens,happened to me twice.

I *think* it only happens online. (I'm not certain about this, but I never got it until last night, and I had previously been playing mostly offline.)
It isn't a frequent occurrence, is it? I don't want to have to run to the bank every time I find something rare. --; |
