O.K. I was following the Max Stats mag guide on here to get a mind mag for my FOmarl. It says that the stats will end up being 11 def, 0 pow, 3 dex, 186 mind. As it said, I fed it monofluids until it hit level 10. Now I'm feeding it difluids. However, at level 22, the def is already at 9 and just about to hit 10. The dex is 1. And the mind is 12. Once I hit level 35, I'm supposed to switch to monofluids (which, at that point, don't raise def I don't think). But there's no WAY at this pace that my def is going to only go up a little over 1 point and my mind is going to go up 9 points.

So... what did I do wrong? I have another spare mag to try again with, but I was just curious...

I haven't ever followed a guide to make a mag, but here's some advice from my experience. Sometimes, you have to feed it something that doesn't raise a stat you want, only because it will lower another one. In this case, if you can find an item to drop defense without hurting mind, you can use that to reset defense. If it raises power, or something, not too much, the fluids will probably take care of that anyway. Hope that helps

don't feel bad, that guide for the mind mag is not correct because I ran into the same thing. best I could get using that guide is 184 mind.

I used that guide and its pretty close. So dont worry about it you will still get a high mind mag

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep working on that mind. Not that my Sato is going to be a slouch (it'll end up with 148 mind, since I accidentally upped power by 2), but something around 184 or 185 would be great. Thanks!
