Just got burned by Codejunkies, and rather than give them money, I'm looking elsewhere. I know the ASCII's about $70, and I don't want to spend this kind of money unless I really need to, and this looked like a nice idea, but I've heard about problems with other ones like this one (sticky keys, etc.). My question is, has anyone bought this that can verify it's worth?

I finally got my Powerboard yesterday. I don't recommend a Powerboard if you can get another adaptor, because of the layout. That is, unless typing Japanese is important to you, in which case the Powerboard is the best choice.

I've actually reported the codekunkies transaction as fraud to my bank, and had the charges reversed.

I ordered March 14th, and the charges showed up on my account March 15. They bumped back the release date AFTER they'd already taken my money. I had paid for 1-week shipping. It, supposedly, shipped 3 weeks ago. Since then, I've emailed them 3 times, and received no response.

I tried to get onto their site this morning to contact them again, and it was down, so I said to hell with it and let my bank deal with it, instead.

As a bit of information me and a friend, if you have not already heard/read, build GCN keyboard adapters and list them on ebay for $29.99.

If you are looking for another solution then please check out:
http://www.indiglo.net

I am not attepting to advertise and create spam on the site, but would like to point out another solution to people having trouble with Datel.

These adapters are also in U.S. keyboard layout. This means that all they keys type exactly what they say they should. This adapter is compatible with any PS/2 keyboard. I am using a wireless Logitech keyboard with mine here at home. It is nice.

We currently have parts on order, but expect them to be here before the week is over. We should have more listed on there before the week is done.

If you have any questions then you may PM me or contact us through our web site.

well ... i just ordered it to try it out ... can't beat $17.90 + $2.10 S&H ($20.00 total)

once i receive it, i'll post a review on this thread or another new thread

sorry alland ... i was gonna order your adaptor, and if this adaptor falls short, i still might, especially one with switchable US/JP layout, and since it supports a cordless keyboard (i don't know if play-asia's adaptor does, i hope so)

does anyone know who manufactures this adaptor? because i would like to see FAQs for it, instructions, known issues, etc.
