I've never encountered a 'special' weapon while doing a quest, despite finding many outside of quests (usually common rare things). Are there no rare items in quests?

UU umm don't know i think i found a special weapon like a varsita and a db sword but that about it no really rare weapons

Only ones I've found were the Frying Pan and the Soul Eater, but I did the quests in the right order to get them.
