A few weeks ago I decided to form a group to start new characters and play legitimately with online etiquette. And finally, the team was situated and ready to go. It was later dubbed "Team Play." The first
Team Play team was a success. It is currently composed of:
(Person's name, Character's name, Character's Class, Character's Section ID)
Sham - Czolgosz - FOnewearl - Whitill
Sir Paladin - Ciphalli - HUcaseal - Redria
Rabblerouser - Debonair - RAmarl - Purplenum
Auracom - Falcion - HUcast - Yellowboze
So far, it's been pretty fun. I'd also like to give anyone else a chance to join and form a team with other players. Here is the criteria we play by:
1.) Any material, units, grinders, or other little useful items such as this, will be dropped in Pioneer 2 after or before the boss of the level is beaten. You should generally make separate piles, just to be organized; as in, Material pile, Grinder pile, Red box pile, etc. After we complete the level and boss, of course everyone will be in P2. There, your team will evenly split up the "goods" by asking, distributing, choosing, or playing a game of Janken.
2.) Any rare item(red box) found will be dropped in Pioneer 2. After the level and boss is complete, the rares will be distributed evenly. If more than one person happens to want the same rare, the person who gets it will be decided over a game of Janken. Janken is a game created by Japanese players, it is played exactly like Rock-Paper-Scissors, except you do it with Meseta. Players spread out about the PSO equivalent of 10 feet, and drop an amount of Meseta between 1-3. The winner is decided by 1>2>3>1. (IE. If I drop 2 meseta and you drop 3, you win. If you drop 3 Meseta and I drop 1, I win.) If the game is played by more than one person, you simply eliminate any losers who haven't tied until you have the final winner.
3.) We use only the things found in our games. Not even transferring any legit items from other characters. This promotes teamwork since we won't be running around with LV200 Mags and rare weapons. (In the future we may discuss the possibility of transferring legit Holiday items since obviously they are no longer attainable, at least not anytime soon.)
4.) Just use common online courtesy. Don't run for a red box while your teammate gets pummeled by rappies, (especially since everything is evenly distributed at the end of the level.) Or don't run ahead or split up from the main group, try to act as a unit, not single persons. I'd also like to add, a little fairness thing me and my team personally do, is when we set meetings, like, say we schedule one for 7PM, we have a 15 minute courtesy wait. If only three people show up at 7PM, we wait until 7:15 PM in hopes of the fourth showing, if not, we continue play as per normal. You don't
have to do things like that, but it's just a good idea.
If anyone would like to join, either post here or PM me to get a team assigned. The basic
Team Play team is 2Hunters, 1Ranger, 1Force. Our base of play is Altair Block 7, Lobby 10. We currently have two
TP teams; mine, and one that hasn't started yet. And one more thing to add, this definitely isn't a clan. It's more of a place to meet up with others who play the same as you, and form a team to start new characters with.
