Just wanted to get a few opinions on this before I finished c-mode. Pretty soon I'm going to earn an S-Rank which I hope to someday have the geist property. But I can't decide between the 2 shooting weapons they're allowed to use. So which one would you guys prefer? A mechgun or a handgun?

Handgun, it has better range

Keep in mind you'll need 180 ata to equip any of them. FOnewearl can reach that, but you'll probably need a lot of dex on your mag and arm units to get there

I should have made this a pole. Any votes for mechguns?

The mech suffer from lack of ata, which the Fonewearl
has enough trouble with, and the atp is not that high
(I know 3 shot to 1 but with the ata trouble remember
that evil miss) and her max atp is 583. Plus the
mechs have the long recovery after the shots. And
has already been mentioned the shorter range, which
combined with the long recovery means you will get
hit a lot more, and the Fonewearl has low HP, so
I think the handgun is the smarter choice, but the
mechs are much cooler so I would go for the cool
factor and get them.

Any other comments? I'm about to go into C9 shortly and I still can't decide.

srank mechguns are good for high level charas and once you could use them for actual damage, you'll have found other, better stuff already...

and actually there is not one srank weapon that would be of practical use on your fonewearl - since she should limit herself to techs anyway.

get a twin for another chara, or a handgun, or a sword or a shot for a ranger.

anyway, good luck
