you just have to keep trying. if you want the dragon to drop a rare, keep it at and in time it will drop the rare it's supposed to drop for your id. it may be the next time you kill the dragon, it may be the hundredth attempt after that. when i went after a dragon claw with my oran character, it took me around forty tries before i found one.

I've gotten two beautiful Holy Rays from it...one with no stats and one with 55 hit on it....great finds that took a while to get
