I still have DC hooked up in my apartment. . .(along with my GC) and was wonering about starting a ver.2 character. But I've heard you can't find rare enimies in quests. . (i don't think i remember seeing any in quests in the ol' days) is this true. . or just another rumor?

I don't think there were rare monsters and red boxes on the quest on the dreamcast versions (correct me if I'm wrong)
but on the Ver.1&2 I know there are because I have seen them and have gotten many red boxes before.

Well there was no red boxes period in ver.2, my question is can you find any rare enimies in quests, like fake in yellow, for instance.

There were no red boxes in v1 and 2. Orange ones, yes, but no red. An Ano Rifle wouldn't appear any differently to a Red Handgun or Blaster if dropped, and a Love Heart would look identical to a Divinity Barrier.

You can find rare enemies in Quests but you can't find rare items. You were half right.
