Grinding/Duped Items? - PSO-World.com Forums

This is a question I've been wondering for a while. Some of my weapons Im able to grind, but some of them I cannot. Up until now I always thought that you cant grind hacked and/or duped items, but Im not sure. Can anyone verify this/tell me why?

Some weapons simply can't be grinded.

Yea, I kinda figured...but I mean I have Wals-MK2 (sp?) I grinded one to +9, but the other I just simply cant grind. Same with my Kaladbolgs (although they really arnt much of a good weapon to grind anyway).

Whether they're hacked or duped or w/e or not doesn't matter. Some weapons simply have a grind value of 0, meaning, as Sounomi mentioned, that they cannot be ground.

So, you mean that the Wals I grinded had the +9 gind, but the other one doesnt? Now im confused...

You can grind duped items. I don't see how you are having a problem.

He has two of the exact same weapon. He was capable of grinding one up to 9, but when he attempted to use a grinder on the other, it wouldn't allow him to.

At least, that's my interpretation. The only guess I have is that you forgot to equip the the second Wals when you attempted to grind it.

Some weps you can't grind. Yes you can grind dupes if they aren't all ready grinded to its fullest.

YES! THANK YOU! You seem to be the only one who knows what im talking about. And yes, I equiped it, it didnt work, I even tried using different grinders, still same thing.

Like I said above, you can grind duped items, I just don't know how you can't. Try it again with a different duped weapon that you know has a grind. Also, try grinding some legit items. It may be a scratch on your disk thats messing that up, I don't really know.
